The Future Of CDs We have received more and more emails requesting the ability to download Michael's music rather than buy a physical CD. This got us thinking about the future trends in the music business. We found some interesting information we though we would share with you. (Taken from a report posted on cdBaby.com) It has been said in the music business that the compact disc, in its present shape and size, is due for obsolesence within the upcoming decade. Environmental issues notwithstanding, i.e. the cd is made from expensive and non-biodegradable and non-recyclable petroleum byproducts ... In polls taken, it appears that while aspiring studio engineers and musicians still want to produce 'albums,' they're not buying albums when asked what they buy. CD swapping and file-sharing are still the #1 methods for purchasing music. The #1 CD purchasing demographic in America today? Ages 45-54. The least likely to buy a CD? People age 18-24. The least likely to buy music period, in favor of getting music from radio or some other form of broadcast medium? 35-44 Recent studies indicate that people ages 45-54 buy an average of 9 downloads per month, compared to the national average of 6 download purchases per month. The 25-34 age bracket is the most likely to utilize newer technologies in urban markets ... Food for thought.

| A Concert For Theater Michael Civisca performed a special intimate concert to benefit the fully renovated Road Less Traveled Theater in Buffalo, NY. RLTP’s Artistic Director Scott C. Behrend directed this special presentation. The performance took place in the ninety-seat theater, with Michael and band seated on stage, relaxed, talking about the music he performs. As an added bonus, Michael provided a long list of his recorded songs to the audience, giving them the chance to create the song list for the night. Michael said "I love what Scott is doing for the Buffalo theater district. He works with many talented new playwrights, giving them a chance to get their plays on stage. I believe this is important to the growth of the Buffalo theater culture, and I wanted to help." To discover more about Road Less Traveled Productions, visit www.roadlesstraveledproductions.org
